12:35 am - not friends Livejournal and I have not been friends hardly at all this year. It is all my fault. I am thinking of updating more but I just don't want my updates to be filled with boring crap about what I did today or yesterday, etc. Only time will tell what I do with this thing.
The reason I am updating today is kinda to say something I did last night. I went to a kick ass show!
Jeff, Rick and I went to the Darkest of the Dark tour last night at Harpos and man was it fucking sweet. The bands that were there were (in order of apperance): The Agony Scene, Mortus, Himsa, Behemoth, Chimaira, Danzig and Doyle.
The Agony Scene=good Mortus=eh not so much Himsa=alright, I met two of the band members, Josh and Ruban Behemoth=was not digging at all chimaira=good
Yes that is right kicks Danzig AND Doyle. They played together. Doyle came in half way through Danzig's act and they played some misfits songs together. It was amazing. I had a lot of fun.
I was digging some of the other bands, but when Doyle came out I was in heaven. That man has one nice ass and body.
I like Harpos too. I will definitely go back there for a show.

02:53 pm - Yo Mountain Yo Taryn
I got a new cell phone and it makes the same clicky noise when you open and close it like your old one did. It makes me happy.
Also thanks for thinking of me with Teenage Dirtbag. I couldn't hear it, but it is the thought that counts.
Also would it be possible to get roommates together this week to figure out what stuff people are going to bring into the apartment. I just want to know for packing purposes. Thanks man

03:03 am I can never seem to find my niche here at MSU. Yea I have close friends but I still have never felt that I could fully connect with someone. I am a loner and most of the time I am content with that but nights like tonight it gets the best of me. At parties I feel like no one really cares and I don't connect on the same kind of fun the other people are having. No they are not ass holes for this. Tonight the emotion just got the best of me so I drove back home and now I sit here not tired and I have to wake up in 4 hours. I hope tomorrow is better, but most likely it wont be much different.
Night.
I feel like crying, but I need to stay strong. I guess in the next minute I will see what takes the best of me.
Sorry for such an emotional sappy entry.

12:03 pm Man last night were we all over the town or what!
First off I gathered Will, aeno and xprimex together. The three of them had never met each other but they all seemed to get along just fine. So the three boys and I got on the bus and headed to Lansing for the Lansing Lugnuts game. There it is thirsty thursday. The three boys took advantage of the $2 beers but I did not. Blech. Well we sat in the seats and I had an amazing time watching a HUGE storm come in over the baseball field. I think the game only got to the top of the second inning before they called a rain delay. So we took cover and the boys drank more beers while checking out the ladies. It was a funny time to say the least. Once the rain was semi not pouring anymore, we ran over to the nuthouse to catch the Pistons game but it was already packed. So we got on the bus and headed into East Lansing. While on the bus ride. Beau started talking to these two girls behind him, which ended up one being a step-mom of another girl a couple rows back. So the step-daughter is 14 and the step-mom is 23. Will decides to be rude and yell out Jerry Springer, because he thought that situation was a situation to be heard on Jerry. Maybe so, but man don't yell it out. His yelling Jerry got this old lady who wasn't totally all together in the head and missing all her teeth to proceed to do the flashing motion of her boobs, because hey that is what they do on Jerry. I was laughing so hard my cheeks were hurting. In East Lansing we went to Woodys Oasis to chill there for a bit. I talked to a girl that was in one of my ISS classes and it turns out she knows zerokoolel...yes Josh I talked to Meg! Woodys was a fun little place to sit and laugh at my drunk friends with. Afterwards we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings because Will wanted to see some of the game. After that we were going to go with my roommate Kristen to the downtown part of Harpers for 80s night. Well we turned around right when they said it was $10, fuck that. I am not paying any place $10 to go pay them more money for drinks. Plus the people that are willing to pay $10 to get in are not the people I want to be around. I think the rest of the night turned into me yelling at the drunken boys and chilling at my house. It was definitely fun over all though. Lets all go next home thursday game and redeem our tickets for free ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I much venture to Traverse City with the family for wine tasting. Catch you all on Sunday! Current Mood: hot Current Music: Millencolin "Kemp"

12:01 pm - DO IT! This song sounds awesome live, but since you can't hear it live and can cheat with the lyrics. Tell me how many band names you think are in these lyrics and we can all compare answers. Even the people that I doubt will do it, better do it!
GYM CLASS HEROES "Taxi Driver"
I took cutie for a ride in my deathcab She tipped me with a kiss I dropped her off at the meth lab Before she left she made a dashboard confessional And spilled her guts in cursive but whats worse is I could still see her bright eyes like sunny day real estate Oh my and in a funny way it irritates So high but no chance My little chemical romance left a bad taste in my mouth But I imposed her like hey mercedes why the long face Why you cryin? theres no need Just put on this coheed and fallout Boy meets girl jimmy eat world But Schlep eats pills till hes all out Not once not twice she was thrice times a lady Mackin on brand new, but I had to Bounce over to the postal service to Pick up these pills that take care of my nervousness And all the way I saw planes that were mistooken for stars She played games but she took em too far At the drive in Watching soft porn and you can tell By the trail of the dead, that there was somethin in the popcorn I hop in my cab destination midtown Just to get up with some kids that like to get down I'd made my rounds and that was that In between the frowns and scraps and heart attacks And I remember I seen her ass in early november On a thursday takein back sunday for a refund She shot a wink like no hard feelings Then she jetted to brazil man them pills had me spun

10:59 pm Can some please take my headache and make it hurt like it is hurting me!!!!
Monday was a most excellent night. I got to see Despite Everything do open mic night at Billy's. There were a few rough spots, but good to see the boys live somewhere. I had a blast that night, it was lots of fun! Thanks!
Tuesday I had an interview at the Impact. For those of you that don't know it is the student run radio station at Michigan State. It is a good radio station though, which is hard to find. I got the job! Well it is volunteering but oh well, it will look good on the resume. I am going to be a Dee Jay. First I will start on their internet radio station called the fix (thefix.org) Once I find out my air times I will let you all know so that you can tune in :-) That night for some reason I was pissy, but then I got a random phone call from Josh and he and his boy came over for a bit and chilled. Good times. Finished watching my netflix, The Evil Dead. That movie is hilarious, because of how cheesy it is. One of the girls in it though had a Michigan State sweatshirt on. And for those of you that have seen the movie, what is up with the vine that attacks her in the woods and then starts getting her off...haha funny.
Wednesday aka Today-just did my lighting project for school. Then I went to Harpers for half off food and drinks. Conclusion: I will never pay full price for their food because it is shit! Then I got a headache. Went to Jenny's and fell asleep on accident. Sorry girl. And now I sit here still with a headache, fucking HOT and tired. Current Mood: cranky Current Music: the fan

10:14 pm - The Much Anticipated Update Things have been ubber busy and I apologize for no updates on it all. It has been atleast a week since I last did this...hopefully I remember how it is done! Lets go back to a week ago shall we...but the furthest I remember is Monday.
So Monday aka Memorial Day aka the night before my birthday...awaiting midnight On this lovely day I got to spend my time at The BBQ Bash at Chris, Shasta and Andy's. There were very interesting things to watch during the time along with interesting smells. Excellent party all of you, with excellent food as well. Oh yes I got to meet some new people. Well lets skip right on to that night when midnight rolled around and this girl turned 21. Thats right...I am 21 now! The celebration was done at Mulligans in the lovely Easttown of GR. To welcome me there was a bagpipe player outside of conviently located Irish Pub (Mulligans). I got to share my time there with my lovelies Shasta, Chris, Johan and Andy! The night was started off with some flame spitting Mulligan Stews (it is 151 and Baileys lit on fire). Very yummy indeed. Mary who was also there were getting people in the place to buy me drinks. I got a Irish Car Bomb from one guy, another Mulligan's stew from some creepy guy, I don't remember what Adam got me, Johan bought me a Long Island, Chris bought me a Long Island as well and then the creepy guy and his friend Mark decided to give me a shot of Jack and a side of Coke. After they left I just gave it to Andy :-) At this point I was already pretty drunk and had to wake up 6 hours later. That night was spent sleeping on the couch in the basement of Chris, Shasta and Andy's. I need to come up with a name of their house because I am tired of typing out all THREE of their names everytime :-) Yes my fingers are lazy, get over it!
Tuesday aka May 31st aka the official birthday I woke up at 8am still feeling drunk. Met my dad for breakfast at 8:30am...I am not really sure how I managed that. Went back home and took a nap afterwards and then drived back to EL for class. That day was spent laying in the grass followed by dinner with the wonderful Kristen, Tim, Jill and Melissa at Old Chicago. It was my first time there and I was impressed with it. But the best part is...Taryn drove in for the celebration. Christina was suppose to come too but things happened which wouldn't allow her to come, but all is good. After dinner we went out to Stobers, where Ilya met us there and suprised me with the beautiful Inna. Oh yes and Zack also came along for the drinking and is the one who picked Stobers...nice work. It was kinda dead on a Tuesday night there, but oh well I thought it was fun and I thank everyone who participated on my birthday celebrating.
Wednesday Class, Jimmy Johns with Taryn, card playing in the grass...Mickey drove all the way to EL to come visit me for my birthday. I love that girl to pieces. She wont read this but I thank her very much for coming. Taryn, Will, Mickey and I tried to go to Harpers for half off food and drinks but at 7am they wouldn't let people under 21 years old in, so we went to the Harrison Roadhouse. There I got to see Kira for a couple seconds. After dinner and all that jazz...Mickey, Taryn and I headed out to Mac's Bar for some bands. And let me tell you, if you ever get a chance to see Ume don't turn it down, your eyes will be amazed and if you like the sound your ears too!
Thursday Jenny bought me dinner for my birthday. We went to the Fish Market. I had never been there, but it is very tasty food...just be prepared to drop a pretty penny. It was good to catch up with Jenny again and just talk about everything and anything. That night I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. I got to see Kellie for the first time in a long time, so that was nice! I was starting to miss her :-) Pistons lost.
Friday I went to Grand Rapids. Went out to dinner with my sisters and step-mom at the Big Dish in Lowell. It is a new place that my step-mom wanted to try out. I wouldn't go out of your way to go there. Then we continued on to a jewerly store in Lowell to try and find a birthday gift. My dad and step-mom decided to get me a nice piece of jewerly for my birthday. There was nothing at the store there that I liked, but I have an idea that they may do for me. I just need to get the approval of my dad, so I will let you all know how that goes. That night I went down to festival of the arts for a bit with Chris, but it was really lame and we only stayed there for about 30 minutes. Then that night was spent with some good times at Mulligans. I think that place is going to be a frequent stop when I am in GR.
Saturday time with the mommy and then back to EL. Buffalo Wild Wings once again with Kellie for the game. Normally I would not be someone to go out somewhere and watch games like this because I usually can't handle sitting through a whole game, but it is different when there are a lot of people around cheering the same team on, etc. Afterwards we went to Rum Runners a dueling (sp) piano bar. I will definitely go back to that place. It is way fun and if you go there order a Apple Orchard. It is a good place to go with your girls and have a fun time and make a fool out of yourself if you wish.
Sunday project for school, bought a kiddy pool because it was so f-ing hot, sat in the pool for a bit, got dinner made for my by Sarah...it was yummy, worked on one of my projects of the summer, watched disks one and two of my saved by the bell seasons 3 and 4 that I got from Taryn with Sarah and Jess, laziness, hottness, now bed
but before I go to bed I wish Andy and Chris the best of luck in tomorrow's performance; I hope Despite Everything plays the best they have ever played! Pretend I am standing in the crowd...listening and supporting my dudes!

01:20 am - Good weekend Today was a beatiful day to drive. I love being able to drive when the sun is shining. It makes you want to get wherever you are going faster so you can enjoy the weather. For me the sun shining=a faster trip. Also I love having my window down and music blasting.
This weekend was very very good.
Friday night I went to my sisters play. She was a bush in the Jungle Book. Seeing their version of it makes me want to rent the Jungle Book and watch it. Anyone want to watch it with me? After the play I went over to Chris and Shasta's. We decided to go see House of Wax at the theatre. High five for Paris Hilton getting a pole through her fucking head. The only reason I semi-liked the movie because it wasn't what I expected it to be and it was a different story line then a normal "now-a-days" scary movie. Also I have this fear of dead people waking up, so I think that helped make the movie a little more interesting for me. I would wait until it is on video though. And it is a one time only watch.
Saturday-went shopping with my mom. We took my ring in to get sized and then I got another ring as a early birthday present. That day I also got a couple other early birthday presents and my mom bought a shit load of clothes for her. I finally got some f-ing khakis for when I start work. I hate Khakis but I have to wear them for the job. **throws up a little** Then it was off to Chris and Shasta's for some BBQ-ing fun. It was good times spent with Andy, Stef, Johan, Chris, Shasta and Pete. I am really excited for Memorial Day when they do it again and have more people. Then at midnight bitches, this girl will be 21!
Sunday-woke up at 8:30 to go to the 9:30 showing of Star Wars III with the dad and one of the sisters. I personally thought the movie was slow and the acting/dialoge was bad. The best acting Hayden Christiansen (sp) did was when he was being burnt. I hated how the twins were named as well. They just came out of the blue. All in all it wasn't bad and I am glad I saw it in the theatre. The rest of Sunday was spent with a nap, rearranging my parents bedroom, driving back to EL, and playing some Monopoly with Kira, Rod, John and Jason. It was a lot of fun actually and I won!!! I like how the new guy comes in and wins it all!!!!!
Ok but now I am tired so I bid you all goodnight!!! Current Mood: tired Current Music: Underoath
